Stop the IOW council bringing in the ban of dogs in public spaces

I am a responsible dog owner, ensuring he is not a public nuisance in any way. We love our holidays in the Isle of Wight as we can bring the dog, encouraging us to get out and about, enjoying a variety of healthy walks...which we wouldn't do if we didn't have a dog...the Isle of Wight is such an Ideal place for holidays such as this

Can agree with dog band on certain beaches in high summer but this is taking it to far and will certainly effect much needed tourism.

I love having holidays on the IoW with my family and dog. But if I can’t bring my dogs in public spaces I will not come again

I don't have children to take to the beach so I take my dog.as a council tax payer I feel the beach is mine

We will no longer visit the Isle of Wight if dog bans come into place. It would be the end of the island’s tourism if you stop people bringing their dogs and a detrimental effect on your economy.

it would stop me coming to I.O.W. for holidays with my 2 dogs. Think of the money you would be loosing as a coucil with no tourists.

Beaches and beautiful spaces should be for all living creatures to enjoy and not the chosen few. We should all respect this and be considerate to others and not be so selfish. My dogs love children, but I understand not everyone likes dogs, so I clip them onto their leads when near other people and let them run free where the beach is clear.

What an absolutely ridiculous idea!
Our family have one beautiful behaved Labrador, who we take with us out and about a lot of the time. Loving on a beautiful island we at lucky enough to enjoy the large amount of outdoor spaces as our walking grounds. There are numerous reasons I oppose this.
I love running and my doggy is my running buddy. We love to go to park run on a Saturday at Medina / Seaclose.
As a Labrador our dogs absolutely loves the water. We love to take him to the beaches for a long walk and swim. Great exercise.
Sadly my father passed away this year. It has come as great comfort to walk through the cemetery with my dog on our walk and pop by and see dad for a little bit.
Our dog is very much part of our family unit and loved by our children. Being not able to include him in our family adventures would be detrimental. Kids needs exercise and dogs are a great reason to get them out the door.
As an island we are trying to attract holiday makers to come and stay. This would be a massive turn off for any dog owner.
I really hope you listen to all these comments as it would be heartbreaking for some many people and families and in the long run could put dogs lives / health at risk if they were not able to be exercised.
