Don’t let few experience being the destiny of millions. Let them being. Otherwise what is the future of the animals. Also it has been shown than outdoor is good for the well being of not only humans but well being animals.

This will put people with dogs from visiting the island and why should people who after their dogs and clean up after them be punished by this ban

Dogs enjoy walking along the beach, it's good exercise for them. And all the other places you're trying to stop them from going? What's going to be next? You're going to ban horses, parents and children next? Riduclous ideas you have. I take it the person or persons thinking of this ban at the council clearly doesnt have dogs themselves or if they did they'd have some empathy around this and not try and impose this preposterous rule. Clearly it's a man who doesnt like animals whose trying to make this ban. A woman would have been more understanding! I do hope that if you decide to go ahead with the ban, that you'll also ban horses from going on the beach too as they often open their bowels not only on the beach but in the sea too, oh, and while you're at it, you'd better ban humans too as they leave litter and cigarettes and then you could ban horses from riding on roads to stop them getting frightened and you could ban people from using mobile phones in public. See. What you're proposing is very silly indeed, very silly and totally unreasonable too!

I feel that the Isle Of Wight council has more important things to sort out rather than penalise dog owners whether resident or visitors.

I'm hoping to visit for the first time next year and I'm planning to bring my little dog, it would definitely put me off coming if I couldn't take her places.

We holidayed on the island many times with our family and dog. We then chose to make it our home. We know so many people who choose to holiday here because of the dog friendliness. Please don’t take that away from us and our important visitors.

This is so crazy. An enormous amount of our tourism is due to us being a dog friendly island. 80% of my guests come because their dogs are welcome to run off lead. The only people on the beaches for 8 months of the year are us dog walkers. Have some sense Isle of Wight Council.

This is unbelievable that you can think this is a good idea . Please use your time looking at other important issues. Ie floating bridge . To name one .

The current ban on beaches through winter is enough .maybe enforcing fines on people that leave their dogs poop should be concentrated on

Don't ban our dogs from beaches and parks. Increase the dog wardens. Increase the fines for not picking up after your dog. Us dog lovers should not be penalised because of the disgusting minority who fail to pick up their dog's mess.
