Stop the IOW council bringing in the ban of dogs in public spaces

All wrong ,so many people have dogs and we have for a reason because we enjoy the walking with families and friends , we live near the sea and beaches to be able to use them , I was down the tollgate walking my dog to day this is a ridiculous thing to stop us doing? Can only assume the people stopping this are not dog owners ? .

There is a huge dog walking community on the island, lots of wonderful dogs, this would be too punitive. I know so many friends who come here because of the island being dog friendly... awful that we have to have this petition

Please leave this I have been coming to the island for years well over 25 and come for the love of dogs here . It's humans that make mess not dogs .

Please don’t ban the beaches for thousands of tourists and residents alike for the sake of a few bad dog owners.

We holiday on the Island regularly with our well behaved clean and friendly dog and find the dog friendly areas enjoyable for all of us and would miss such a lot of the Island experiences.

Instead of banning dogs, spend the money to provide more signs and facilities for dog poo disposal.

Did someone without a dog come up with this idea ? I haven't got a dog myself but come on , think reasonably. Bad mental health epidemic lets band people from walking in the most beautiful places too !! not good - Just needs fines to be enforced more consistently, reverently .
