I have 2 dogs and they love the beach and i love going to the beach to excersise with them and always pick up there buisness afterwards. Would like to know why they are doing this and how can they stop people from taking there dogs on the wetlands when the tide is out i thought that wasnt anyones property. Stupid iwc. They never get anything right. They should be more worried and concentrate on sorting out our roads and roadworks that are causing so much hassel to drivers.

This is a disgraceful, I’ll-conceived and entirely disproportionate piece of legislation that will do nothing to promote tourism on the Island.

My dog loves the sea, I think it's great when a dog can run on a beach winter time and summer in some aeras. I think this is a stupid idea, clearly not a dog lover to suggest it... get a spaniel and you might just change your mind !!!!!

Typical council, sticking their beaks in where it's not needed. They should concentrate on the numerous issues that do need sorting on this island rather than upsetting a great number of people. With the cost of ferry travel it's a wonder people continue coming with their dogs if the council has this mindset.

This just doesn't make sense... why penalise the majority when it's as always the minority? People love to see dogs exercising and playing on the beach. If this goes through it'll not just be the dog owners that lose out but also the businesses on the beach who stay open year round to take advantage of this valuable passing trade. I understand some areas, but not allowing a grieving pet to visit a master/mistresses' grave just doesn't make sense. They're grieving to. Walking their dog in these areas may be the only contact with other people some dog owners get...

Dog walking on a beach is one of the greatest pleasures in life. Always keep my dog under control and pick up.

How could I live near a beach with a dog and not be allowed on it. Impossible
