How much will it cost to police this intended ban

Disgusting the council cannot be allowed to do this without a consultation first with the public

Absolutely ridiculous idea! Concentrate on improving the vast amounts of run down areas that actually need time and attention instead of wasting previous time and money on this.

Typical of this Administration, short sighted view that will do nothing to help the Island but will harm the tourist industry.

By all means fine people that don’t clean up after their dogs . But don’t punish those who do . My dog loves the beach .

Please don't limit the joys of pets and their owners on our beautiful island. The vast majority of us are responsible and clean up not only after our pets but after littering humans too. We and people who visit the Island with their dogs do so because of the freedom and enjoyment we can all experience on our beaches. It's what makes the Island such a great place to live and visit. Please don't take that away from us.

Isle of Wight has always been dog friendly, please don't ban dogs. Your punishing the responsible owners.

How ridiculous is this. Stop penalising poor dogs. They have feelings. They love playing on the beaches and they don’t leave rubbish every where like kids and adults do

Absolute rubbish to ban dogs from beaches. I understand perhaps playgrounds unless dogs are kept on leads. Think again IOW Council or you will make another big mistake, especially if you read comments from tourists

Dogs are part of the family it's people who are not cleaning up after their dogs and bit controlling their dogs that should be banned

Ridiculous idea, what have dogs done wrong, if there’s a problem it’s a human one and they should be punished.
