The island attracts visitors with their dogs as at present it is so dog friendly

This is not the approach that is needed. Just banning dogs from all these areas is ridiculous, please reconsider.

I walk my dog on both beaches and in cemeteries. It would be a great loss to us to not be able to do so. Plus, this would have a big effect on Tourism considering we're meant to be a dog friendly Island...

As an accommodation provider that takes dogs and their owners I feel this would stop a large proportion of people with dogs travelling to the Island and impact an already very difficult industry.

Ridiculous idea. Bad for tourism bad for the residents.

I think it’s disgusting not being able to take your dog in public places! The Isle of Wight is probably the most friendly dog place on the island and it will stop people from coming over on holiday! Another hit for island tourism!!!

This is a ridiculous proposal. The council should spend its time on more worthy projects. Think of the damage this will do to the tourist trade! The island has a reputation for being dog friendly.

One of the attractions of our island is that it is dog friendly. As responsible owners we take great care to pick up after our dogs and make sure they do not become a nuisance. Our dogs have a right to enjoy our islsnd with us.

This will damage tourism and the public life of residents.
