One sure fire way to kill tourism and the many coastal cafés who rely on dog walkers especially put of season, and it's irresponsible owners who need to be fined for allowing dog fouling anywhere on the island!!

IOW PRIDES ITSELF ON BEING DOG FRIENDLY, I agree no dogs in children’s playgrounds or cemeteries however the current system works for beaches certain beaches dogs are only allowed in winter months and some beaches all year round, this is what attracts a lot of visitors why change it if it is working

People come on holiday to our island with their pets because we are "supposed" to be such a dog friendly place. ..please dont spoil it

Their lifespan is shorter than ours, so let them enjoy their lives while they’re alive. My dogs love the beach and I love walking them down there. So many friendly people with other dogs. Sometimes there dog and my dogs will even place because that’s what the island is truly about

Dog friendly Island, lets keep it that way or you may as well just 'close' the island down. No more tourists who love the island and spend money here, what are you thnking??

The island is a tourist destination due to its friendliness of dogs, what a shame. Not a good idea at all. Also, after summer season it is so nice to have the island to us to walk our dogs! We should have some recompense for sharing our beautiful island.

Council supposed to be hard of money no wonder wasting our council tax on something that locals and holidaymakers come to the island to enjoy taking their dogs for walks.

I moved here just a year ago knowing it would be a fab place to live for myself and especially my dogs with lots of places for them to enjoy especially the beaches , would be a Shame to ban them

Our dog just loves the beach and our 11 and 16 year old boys actually get off their xboxes and join in the fun we we take the dog to the beach. This will ruin lots of families fun!!

This is ridiculous and unessacary punishing dog owners when teenagers that constantly smoke drugs and drink alcohol in public areas should be targeted. Along with the dealers that sell drugs to kids. Dogs aren't the problem people are. Stop scapegoating and focus on the real problems. Drugs and teenagers.
