Stop the IOW council bringing in the ban of dogs in public spaces

Utterly ridiculous!!!

its only the minority who choose to not care about where their dogs go. But our island has been special to holiday makers since being dog friendly

Good dog owners shouldn't be penalized

Most people are respectful and responsible when taking their dogs on walks, it's the minority that spoil it. I think it's wrong that you can't take your dog with you when you tend love ones graves, or letting your dog enjoy a swim in the sea when their hot, as it's a place for everyone to enjoy with their family including your dog, punish the owners and not the dog

why ban dogs from public places not everyone is a irresponsible owner !!!! why ban druggy and alcholic people instead !!!

The medina arboretum is the perfect place to walk my 3 dogs - we’ve been walking our dogs there for years!

I understand that a few dogs may be Cause concern to others but they are usually with an irresponsible owner. You cannot compare Most owners to these people , so its unfair to tar all dog owners with the same brush. You will always get the ones who will NOT pick up behind their dog no matter how many signs you put up. And you will always get people who just think its OK for their dog to be aggressive to other dogs but they are the minority.

This is ludicrous. We as a business rely on the dogs and the walkers through the winter months. It's not the dogs fault it's the owners. Let's get dog wardens out there and fne whoever doesn't scoop the poop

Most of these places are within walking distance of people who own dogs, they take them there on leads, then let them run free for while....if people are worried about dogs near children's play areas, then fence those areas off....dogs are often the only form of company and comfort that people have, why punish the innocent

This is ridiculous, ban the humans who can’t look after their dogs.

Have loved visiting IOW especially walking kids and dogs along Bembridge beach. In summer we take turns sitting/walking with dog while partner visited places of interest/shops - can't leave them in caravan, car, tied up alone. Banning dogs will result in reduction in visitors.
