Love walking my old dog on the beaches during the winter months, please don’t take away our simple pleasures

Dogs are part of the family too. Ban the dogs, and people will go else where and the islands economy will fail

Animals have rights to live life to the full too.

Dogs should definitely not be banned from the beaches on the lsle Of Wight. As long as owner’s ‘pick up’ if the dog goes to the loo . At the very least , we should be allowed to walk them on the beaches at certain times of the day

Utterly ridiculous, so many people have dogs on the island it’s a beautiful place to walk them

I agree that dogs should be kept on leads in public places but dogs are part of people’s families.

Lots of families enjoy quality time on the beach with their dogs playing a big part . It's people who don't clear up after their pets that cause public outrage. So many children spend too much time sat on devices having a dog isa wonderful way to enjoy our beautiful island .

I am thinking of people living with disabilities and health/mental health issues who need fresh air and exercise and who often benefit from the companionship of a dog. One of the things I love most about living on the Island is having the freedom to enjoy it and no politician or local authority has the right to take this away!

Crazy idea, this island has much bigger issues that need addressing rather than finding problems when there isn’t one!!

We take our dog everywhere, no dogs allowed, we don't go. Dog friendly businesses will lose out.

This has to be fought as I believe it will have a detrimental effect on tourism
