One of the greatest things about our island is how welcoming everyone is for people with dogs

Dogs should not be restricted from public places.

We walk our dogs on the beach throughout winter. We never ever see dog mess. We see far more plastic and litter, which we pick up in our spare poop bags this ban would be completely uncalled for and unfair.

Yet another rediculous idea by a typically rediculous council !

It’s make IOW so special being dog friendly. Would be big big mistake.

As a responsible dog owner I do not agree with the blanket ban because of the minority. Please allow our dogs on the beaches. If you applied this logic to the current situation I football, racism, no fan would ever seen their team play,

Absolutely ridiculous

Ridiculous, we have 3dogs which are no problem to anyone. One of the reasons we moved here was it was safer than the mainland for dog's.

Ridiculous idea - dogs are part of the family, why should they be demonised in this way. There’s far more trouble with anti social behaviour from humans

Frequently visit beaches for walks with my dog. I'm a careful, responsible owner and would be mortified if these areas were banned.

I am booked to visit IOW next year with our West Highland Terrier Molly. We will have to cancel if this comes in. You are going to loose tourists and money. Will take our custom elsewhere and where we are welcome.

Bonkers idea...let’s put off all the tourist that come with dogs! They don’t even ‘police’ the current dog exclusion zones so it’s a bit of a pointless exercise!

This is so backwards and needs to be stopped. We have no big issues with dog attacks.

Humans cause more problems than dogs in these areas! No need for it at all.

There are no dirty dogs, just dirty owners. Give me a job as a park warden and actually start handing fines out to the few. Once again the majority paying the price for the minority

Why, just why?

How can this sit with the notion of dog friendly? How many visitors come here so they can bring their dogs? We are supposed to be a nation of dog lovers!!!
