What a ridiculous notion. Where will you be able to enjoy a dog walk?

Most dog owners are responsible, its not fair to punish them, and more importantly the dogs.

This will not work and will not stop the irresponsible owners Just penalises the responsible ones

WHY!!!!!! I have heard some stupid things by the lefties, for example women Should call the police if they have been wolf whistled at. How the hell is that going to work. Taking your Dog for a walk is one of lifes pleasures George Orwell Would not be surprised. You bloody fools.

This is absolute madness, where are we meant to walk are dogs if this goes ahead, the beaches in winter are a great place for a dog walk ,and it's mainly dog walkers that use the beaches in winter any way,as long as people clear up after there dogs then theres no problem with people walking there dogs anywhere.

I've walked along most of the beaches with and without my dog and never never found dogs to be a nuisance or seen and dog mess, my children and grand children are happy to share this beautiful place.

Many islanders host holiday makers with pets and rely on the “pet friendly island” for a living.

Absolutely ridiculous suggestion! You will lose a lot of your visitors if you prevent dogs being able to be out in public; and it’s highly unfair on your residents!

As an owner of a cat that poops everywhere I don't follow him. Doggy owners (most) pick up there doggy poop. I don't think banning our or any doggies are the right way to go. Our bread and butter 'pardon the pun' is holidaymakers especially dog owners for a friendly reception. .end off. Yes you get the doggie owners that spoil for everyone..a small percentage. P.s im not a big dog fan due to being scared of them but thanks to a family pouch i was cured...RIP handsone whalley dog x

What a ridiculous idea!!! Obviously not in the interest of the residents and visitors of the island. A personal beef perhaps????

Increase the fines and police the highways better to catch people who allow their dogs to fowl these places by all means. But don’t make the responsible dog owners who clean up after their animals pay the price of a ban for the few who do this.

A sad development.

This would have a massive impact for many people like myself who love to walk with their dogs and would greatly restrict where we could go ,making alot of unhappy people and dogs!

This is ridiculous. In Gurnard dogs won't be allowed on the sea wall, also my dog has recently attended funerals for my parents and parent's in law who considered him family, he wouldn't be able to visit their graves with me. Disgusting!

Ridiculous to penalise all dog owners for the few who don’t pick up after their dog. They are part of the family & if anything we should have more dog friendly places
