Please don’t punish those majority that ARE responsible dog owners .. it is an insult! as per usual it is the few that ruin it for all!

This is ridiculous. How about the council doing something about the achual issues with the island.. Like crippling ferry cost. Kids with no respect for others and PEOPLE vandalising these place's, not dogs with there owners on a daily walk!

It's an over reaction to a problem that hardly exists

As a responsible dog owner, I do not allow my dog in play areas and pick up its waste. This ban goes too far and limits popular dog walking areas which is, I assume, in place due to irresponsible owners. Would it not be better to enforce the current rules more stringently if there is an issue? With more tourist attractions and cafes and pubs welcoming dogs this goes against their inclusive nature and will impact tourism.

We always bring our dogs with us to IOW, restrictions on them would force us to go elsewhere for our holidays.

We need these spaces. For goodness sake there's been enough space taken from the island by supermarkets welcomed by the council who don't think of the island. Being dig friendly us all we've got left!!

My dog identifies as a human so you can not ban him.

This is a stupid idea. It’s not the dogs that cause rubbish on our beaches. It’s the humans.

As usual the council only think of the minority, why should animals be denied the pleasure of this island! What about animal only beaches? Bet they wouldn't stand for that! IOW council get a grip and stop being jumped up idiots
