Stop the IOW council bringing in the ban of dogs in public spaces

This Council is becoming a laughing stock. The most ridiculous thing they've suggested yet, apart from St Mary's Roundabout

So stupid

So many families have dogs now, and by preventing them from accessing such space will affect local economy. IOW council need to open their eyes and wake up and focus on matters that actually “matter”, like the ferries and floating bridge!!!!

This will hurt business. Please do not do this.

Dog friendly island is promoted to increase tourism, it works don't change it.

This should not happen, never been to the iow but this would stop me going if I couldn't take my dog.

That's ridiculous my dog loves the beach and lots of other places on the island save our dog walks

Absolutely ridiculous. One of the very best pleasures of living on the Isle is walking ones dogs on the beach. And the same goes for so many tourists. No way will it go through. There would be a riot......or simply no one would comply with it. Besides who would pick up the plastic waste on the beach if it wasn't for diligent dog walkers?

Ridiculous, pointless idea!

Going to the beach with the dog is our most favourite past time - it is good for us as a family and our dog. We would miss it intensely.

Dogs provide huge health benefits for all ages but especially the elderly (of which the Island has a few!) Here the intent is to rule out being able to free walk, or even take them at all, on open areas of relatively flat, easy-walking ground. This is very poorly and short-sightedly thought out

Keep beaches free for dogs to use its they're right to roam and swim in the sea as much every other animal.

This is an absolute disgrace.

Keep the island dog friendly or you will lose so much trade
