I have been coming to the island for 30yrs since i was a kid, i now bring my family and our dog to the island because of the amount of beaches we can ALL go on. If you ban dogs from the beaches you will loose alot of tourism due to the number of families that come to the island purely because of how dog family friendly the place is, the ferries cater for us, camp sites, pubs and beaches its everything we need with a young family 2 boys 4 and 6 plus 1 dog

Some dog owners due to health problems or age cannot walk a long distance so enjoy a stroll in the park or along the local beach in winter, we also keep our eyes open for any problems & report them, most of us clean up,

Our Island has been promoting a dog friendly holiday destination all year and now wish to portray the opposite to both locals and holiday makers alike. Responsible dog owners being punished for the few who aren't.

Dogs are family, I always take mine when I visit my dead father at the cemetery who himself loved dogs. This will also effect our tourist visiting the Island but maybe that’s what the council want to do, kill the Isle Of Wight to save a pound

I moved to the island due to the welcome from the shops and residents. The dog community is very welcoming and makes the area where l live bring people together daily.

Dogs are entitled to go out and enjoy places just as much as us . If holiday makers can't take their dogs out here then they will not come to the island and this will affect our tourism.
