Many families visit with their dogs and the last thing the declining tourist industry needs is anything putting them off. Create more areas people can enjoy safely with their pets, rather than restricting.

A silly proposal in my opinion. You’ve only got to walk along the beaches to see the pollution left by people, cans, litter and worst of all plastic that kills our marine life. The vast majority of dog owners are responsible and clean up after their pets. Clamp down on the yob like behaviour of people who litter wherever they go and think nothing of it.

Dogs are not bad, bad owners are the issue when they don't care

This is ridiculous, as far better to fence off a playground area ! Families often have children and dogs

That’s a very sure way to destroy tourism and in doing so the economic value that it brings.

Being able to walk my dog on the beach esprcially with my grandchildren .is one of the few free pleasure left. Dog owning has so many positives health social and emotional benefits .please dont penalise all irresponsible dog owners for the sake off a few irresponsible ones. Just tackle them instead .

We bring our dog to the I.O.W for at least 3 weeks every year, if she were to be banned from public plasses the we would have to take her elsewhere as would many others

Disgraceful. Quite apart from the annoyance to Island residents, the damage to Tourism will be enormous. It's canineaphobea.

I don't own a dog but it would be ashame to stop owners from taking there dogs out to fan fun. For some people there dig is the only reason they go out. Don't do this it would be just wrong.

The one reason why we love coming to the isle of wight all year round is because it is dog friendly.

That would be a large percentage of this wonderful Island that is supposed to be tourist and dog friendly out of bounds!! Let alone for everyone that actually lives here!
