If you do this you will ruin the tourist trade its bad enough with the price of the ferries. Recent trip to Cornwall dogs welcome everywhere just be a responsible dog owner.

Always loved the fact you Island is so dog friendly when we visit. Responsible dog owners are in the majority. Dogs are part of family life. Surely you want to promote this. Educate about responsible dog owning at school too!

Please tell your council to start regularly cleaning the beaches that humans litter. You don’t see dogs behaving like that.

Came to the isle of wight this year for the first time in 35 years. Loved it so much plan to return with our dog. This would mean we could never bring our Ralf on holiday with us to IOW. Please see sense and stop this mad idea.

It's discriminating. Dog leads are a wonderful thing. Too many idiots given the wrong position of employment.

You should give the warning to dog owners first and monitor for several months, if the bad dog owners don't pick up their poo and keep their dogs under control, then issue ban,
Ban should be last outcome.
