IW Council What on earth are you thinking about? Why fix what you have that isn't broke? Leave it as it is so that the residents and visitors can continue to enjoy as they have done for so many years.

It would be cruel and unnecessary to not let dogs and owner go to places that they love. Dogs are as much as alive as humans and they have emotion. When I take my dog to the places like the beach, her eyes light up and it makes me happy to watch her having so much fun. Why take it away from them?

This is absolutely ludicrous how silly can the isle of wight cancel be. So that will be even less tourist on our struggling island and dogs being shut away because there will be no where to walk them. Well done isle of wight council I apauled you for your stupidity

Please don't penalise all of us who are responsible dog owners. There are already laws in place to penalise those who flout the law. The answer is surely to enforce that existing legislation.

This plan is absurd.

with the appropriate muzzle, dogs should be able to move freely, always supervised by their owners and on a leash. Why not propose courses of awareness for human masters instead?

Most ridiculous Idea. Would ruin holiday trade

That would be dreadful, a backwards step. Dogs are allowed in public places nowadays, even in some restaurant sitting outside, all over Europe. Maybe that's not a good example given the current situation.

Very against this consideration, this will make for a lot of angry island residents.
