I agree with this petition. In the year 30?? all spaceships would use autopilots, especially for docking if not fighting.

So badly needed. I'm on the far side of the galaxy but I can't face the grind back home. I have better things to do with my time! We shouldn't have to sit and manually do each jump. It wouldn't happen in real life so it kills immersion. And it makes the game extremely boring!!!

Please just put this in the game for people who want it. If nothing else it would be really cool to see a auto launch from ports and other stations. Either a Standard Launching Computer or a full blown autopilot would be amazing. Thank you.

I sometimes only have a short block of time to play; can't get very far in this game normally with all the babysitting to do in traveling. Perhaps this game is just geared to teens or retirees with lots of time on their hands, but it would be nice if working folks with responsibilities could play too.

I hate supercruising and dropping into targets, autopilot in supercruise would be great

Options are good. Allow an AP in exchange for a different module.

We should have that option.

I would never use that but am not against it.
I mean, we have auto-docking computer modules, and players accept both the risks (crash) and drawbacks (it is slower in the end than manual docking).
Same would apply to autopilot: takes an internal slot, risk to run out of fuel, risk to miss a deadly interdiction, would keep throttle at 75% in supercruise...
Now I'd prefer FD to focus and spend their time on something else than on this autopilot thing of course.
