I was looking at some Foo Fighter tickets and did not get a basket amount to approve before payment was taken. what i thought was going to be a £500 transaction turned out to be £1200. Immediately complained and wanted to cancel the transaction and they dont care. Spoke to my credit card company who said its a known problem but they are covered by their T&C's so i cant get a refund that way either. Absolutely disgusting!!!!!!!!

3 days before a festival (train and hotel booked, time off work and money wasted) i'm told the seller failed to post my paper ticket even tho it was supposed to be an E ticket! Disgraceful.

Very easy to take this as an official seller. They don't advertise clearly that they are a reseller. On my iPhone the full price was displayed after I had confirmed purchase. The messsages designed to make you hurry are distracting. I feel mugged.

I bought 2 Greenday tickets for the 2017 Brisbane show and the tickets were listed on the site as $180 each so it should have been $360 plus I expected a booking fee...$470 was taken from my account without explanation as to why it was so much extra. There was no way to contact the company for clarification! I read the terrible reviews and cancelled my bank card so they couldn't take any more money out. The tickets did finally show up and after a lot of stress we were able to get into the show. Viagogo is seriously dodgy and I have no idea how they have been able to continue trading as long as they have.

These vile thieving scumbags need to stop ripping off music fans. Go back to the old way of getting music tickets either on the phone or local music shops/HMV. Or be like football you have to register and only allowed so many tickets.

I have seen too many people purchase tickets not knowing this is not the official ticket agent. It is heartbreaking as a promoter not to be able to do anything about this

Viagogo practices fraud as matter of regular policy. They should be removed from Google and banned from operating by national governments.

Bought tickets that and found out they were fraudulent. Luckily the festival had spare tickets for this scenario, so had to purchase tickets twice! Viagogo wouldn't respond to emails.
Utter rip off merchants.
