Opening a page - with the intent to create xenophobia - should be considered a crime. Not only is it going to cost Bellingham, Costco, but all the other small business that rely on BOTH Canadian & American business. Ken Oplinger (Bellingham Chamber of Commerce)said it best: "In the last two years our sales tax generation has double or tripled the pace of the rest of the state and it's almost entirely by the Canadians coming south" More thought should go into making sure "people" are not singled out, but more the companies that are the ONLY ones that change the problem at THEIR store. The page she/he created must be shut down (they shut it down only to resurrect it to gain notoreity). It is only going to continue to strain, hurt and possibly cripple an entire "little" town - but it has already caused crimes against one another. Canadians have had their cars keyed, yelled at in parking lots, in line ups, it is a mob mentality. These two countries that have always supported each other, need to not allow one small minded, uneducated "hitler" esque personality to lead anyone. PLEASE do NOT support the hurt, anger, racism, hatred, xenophobia. HELP CROSS BORDER MENDING!
