Cemeteries are places that should be respected, as the final resting places of loved ones. Allowing dogs to foul in such places is an insult to those buried there and those who care and visit. Dogs should be banned from all cemeteries.

I know it's the minority that let their dogs foul but in order to prevent this happening a blanket ban is required. This is the quickest, cheapest and most effective way to prevent this. Fines and wardens will not deter the minority. I used to have a dog before he passed away, and out of respect I never took him to a graveyard or cemetery, and I was a responsible owner. Dogs should be banned at ALL cemeteries and graveyards throughout Kent, and if possible, the UK.

My son stepped in some a few months ago when visiting my dads grave. It's disgusting.
It's not a place for dogs.

Totally agree - I've seen dogs off leads and allowed to pee up grave stones. Awful!

I walk my dog every day and the amount of dog mess I come across makes me so mad I can't imagine how people feel when going to visit the loved ones who they have lost in such sad circumstances then have to deal with pure filth. Dogs should most definitely be banned from cemeterys it's so disrespectful

There are so many places to walk dogs around kennington so dogs should be banned from here. This has caused one family so much hurt and upset and will be many more familys if this continues.

Disgusted that any owner should allow their dog to do this. Reminds me of the time I saw one letting theirs dig around a fresh grave.

As a responsible dog owner I can't believe how other dog owners could be so ignorant to leave their dogs mess anywhere let alone on a grave. If a ban is what it takes to stop this happening then bring on the ban, it can't happen soon enough!

If I have a dog when I'm old and I die first I want it to come visit my grave with my daughter.. so if dogs are banned that wouldn't happen it's ignorant owners that need to learn some respect

Totally agree. This is totally disrespectful and very stressful to the family members who have lost loved ones. Owners should of also been fined. Banning dogs will solve this.

It's absolutely disgraceful that dog owners think it's acceptable to allow their dogs to poo on graves and not have the decency to clear it up!

There are well over 10 dog walking areas in ashford so this does not need to be one of them.

Kennington has a massive dog fouling problem and even worse letting dogs go in gravestones in the cemetery , wardens and on the spot fines are needed
