To allow visitation at NYS Nursing Homes, without having to be 28 days Covid-free.

It is the right thing to do!! Nobody should be on lockdown during the final days of their life...

Health care workings are not only reporting to work after being covid free for 20 days. Most of these health care workers work in other facilities then go to the nursing home to work. These folks are paying big money to be in these facilities and being deprived of there loved ones.

I want to see my family

We have waited 6 months to see my 96 year old mother. We want to see her again before she dies.

my gram is 96!!! Hasnt touched family in nearly a half a year!! This is no quality if life in your final days. She better not die in there without her family is all I can say!!! If she dies

Please allow visitation in nursing homes. These patients have suffered enough!

We understand the challenges, but il there are ways to make outside and limited visits available with precautions in place. Let's make this happen.

A crime to humanity!!!! My husband's condition is deteriorating from day to day. He was a rehab patient and it's torture working like this. I'm afraid more patients will die with these policies. Senior's lives matter, open those doors, now!!!!!!

The employee that has covid can return in 14 days so that should be enough for the visitors too. Please.

Family members need to be together and even hospitals are allowing visitation.

Disgraceful what is happening. They all need their families.

It's cruel for the State and Nursing Home facilities to keep us from being with our loved ones... The amount of psychological damage and emotional pain inflicted on our the most vulnerable of people is unforgivable... Where are our political represenatives? Where are our religious leaders on this?

This is a standard no one else is held to.

It is sad that family members have to resort to media coverage and petitions in order to see their loved ones. Governor Cuomo has been aware of this situation for quite a long time, with no meaningful action taken that show the respect due nursing home residents.

Time is running out....you have beautiful days ahead to at least allowed outside visitation ...Not allowing residents to see their loved ones is damaging to their emotional well being...please reconsider

My mother spent 7 years in a nursing home and visiting her whenever I was able made us both feel that we were still connected. it was beneficial to both.

Current visitation policy is much too restrictive and punitive. It can do as much damage to resident health and well being as COVID19. Please loosen to allow safe visits.
