You have a terrible parking situation at this college. I cannot believe that your solution to this problem is to increase the parking fee 4 parking spaces that are so far away if you can find one. I thought you were educated people there.

Dont make it more difficult for students opting to attend Tech when other choices abound! Coming to Tech is a choice not an absolute, do anything possible to make it easier in the area of parking, this is something you CAN control.

Allow current students to be grandfathered in to fees and parking areas! Any chance we could get a parking scholarship? ...sad that I have to ask!

I pay enough as it is. My daughter graduates next year. Surely there is enough money somewhere to pay for this.

This is insane.

As a student who will be graduating next spring, I find it highly absurd that my hard earned money will be going towards something I will never have the privilege of using. I have been a full time student in the past 3 years along with working 40+ hours a week to be able to afford the honor of attending a university to continue my education. I find it disturbing that once again, my tuition will increase for a less than necessary reason. Please hear the cries of your alumni, current students, future students, concerned parents and community. This is not what Tech wants, this is not what Tech needs.

This is ridiculous.

This is ridiculous! The parking is inadequate as it is and handicap parking is practically nonexistent! My daughter's handicap access is so poor she's exhausted and in pain by the time she gets to class. It doesn't make for a good learning experience!

Students are coming to learn and already have to pay for housing and their own supply of paper and all your about is just trying to make more money. This is just crazy!! No wonder people that work for a living that "make too much money" to get grants and assistance can't afford to go to school.

The rate at which books, tuition, and fees are increasing is nearly criminal, and this is just another example of my alma mater trying to screw over those it is supposed to be there to help.

I'm signing because this is something that is completely pointless and useless.

Planning for fines from this to help pay for the project is ridiculous. You're hoping people will be confused, park incorrectly, and then have to pay a fine in order to graduate. Can you at least refrain from sounding like cartoon villains when you announce something?

There's not enough parking as is for commuters and now to charge an outrageous fee. I spend enough in gas trying to get to class to get an education nevertheless to have to pay for parking that's not available.

Build a parking tower. Then charge. Assign parking places and let the students rent them. Assign parking areas to the different colleges then assign parking places. Kids that live on campus should not be driving to classes, right? The thing is it doesn't matter what the public has to say.....you can not fight the institution. Period.

The students paying for something they will never use is completely ridiculous!

Please no! It's already hard enough as a commuter!

Why not use the money for the new fit for a parking garage? We don't need a new fit- this one is fine. Give us what we need.
