We, as Haverford alumni, greatly value Theresa Tensuan's contribution to the Haverford community and strongly disagree with the decision to deny her tenure. We feel that she is a shining example of innovative, creative, and relevant scholarship and her commitment to her students' learning and growth is unparalleled. As alumni, we care deeply for Haverford's future, and want to express our great discontent for a future for Haverford that does not include Theresa Tensuan.

I have been reading your stories about how Theresa shaped your time at Haverford and they keep me focused on why this matters. Behind the scenes we are preparing to present these experiences to the administration to show them exactly what they risk losing.

The momentum behind this effort has moved beyond what I ever expected. Seeing so many fellow alumni speak up for Theresa is a powerful reminder of how much her work changed our lives.

What are they thinking?? She is incredible. Tenure should go to teachers like her.

Terrible decision. Theresa is exactly the kind of person who makes the school worth going to.

This is such a huge mistake. She was the best professor I had during my entire time at Haverford.

I cant believe they would let her go. She actually cared about the students and put in the work everyday.
