I really thought this might just be a quiet little idea between a few of us but seeing all these names pile up is honestly overwhelming in the best way possible (my inbox is currently a total disaster but I am not even complaining). We clearly have the momentum now to actually make the TLA pay attention to what we need so please just reach out by email if you want to stay in the loop while I figure out how to organize all these contacts.

totally agree we need more formal support on these issues.
A new interest group, centered on copyright and related issues, would doubtless be of great service to TLA.

Copyright is a major concern for our profession.It will be ideal to have a more structured/formal group addressing this issue.
