我們是一群聖公會蔡功譜中學的校友、學生及家長，就教育局即將推行之「德育及國民教育科」作出以下聲明：
1.我們看重學生之品德培育，也重視培養學生之良好公民素質及對普世價值（例如：民主、自由、人權、法治及廉潔等）之認同；令學生具備獨立思考能力也是令時今日教育的目標；現時學校內不同科目之課程及教學法已包括以上各點，毋須再獨立成科；
2.「國家」和「執政集團」並不等同；我們反對對任何國家／地區之執政者作出旨在「歌功頌德」而欠缺正確價值判斷之教育；對於由教育局撥款資助之「德育及國民教育科」教材內容偏頗，我們深表不滿；
3.我們不滿教育局在咨詢不足、學校內不同持分者及社會各界有強烈反響之情況下仍硬推「德育及國民教育科」；我們要求教育局全面撤回「德育及國民教育科」，再作廣泛而全面之咨詢。Updates

I have been reading through the messages left by our school community and the concern for our students is truly heavy. We are still waiting for a response from the education bureau but their silence only confirms that we must keep pushing forward.

Seeing so many members of our school community come together to protect independent thinking has been truly overwhelming. This response proves that we are not alone in fearing for the future of our students. We are taking this momentum to the authorities to ensure they understand that our voices are united.

stop political brainwashing in schools. students need critical thinking not propaganda.
