The momentum behind this request for a local Trader Joe's location has grown considerably over the past few weeks. This level of interest confirms the appetite for such an addition to our community. I am currently preparing the documentation to present these expressions of interest directly to the corporate office.

Trader Joes when living in Des Moines ensured I stay eating healthy and was healthy while just buying their food only. Since had to buy groceries just at Hy-vee or Walmart it hasn't been so great. We need TJ here in Iowa City bad.
Been a T.J. customer for years in Lake Zurich, IL & Indianapolis. No doubt, the best grocery store on the planet. T.J. will "BURY" New Pioneer in Iowa City. Why? It's all around a better, more diverse store & here's the clincher..."IT"S WAY CHEAPER!!!" New Pi is a good store but ridiculously priced. $8 for a small tub of hummus? Ridiculous!! Bring T.J. to Iowa City now!! It will prosper handsomely, make our residents happier & healthier, & make IC all that much better!! "BRING IT T.J.!!!"

I've lived in several major us cities including west hollywood california of late. I've always had access to a trader joes. Now that I'm moving back to Iowa near Iowa city...I couldn't imagine grocery shopping without a trader joes!!! I get so many items there...the trader joes in Iowa city would have tons of my business along with so many more. And also Many people in Iowa city would love to work there because of it's upbeat and progressive atmosphere. It would bring a little cheer in the winter time. Please bring it here:))))

I would love a Trader Joe's in or near Iowa City! Yes, there is the New Pioneer Co-op but Trader Joe's is unique with great quality and way more affordable!
I LOVE Trader Joe's... The food, the prices, the friendly employees! However I only get the pleasure of buying their delicious options when I visit my sister, who lives in West Des Moines, IA. I would adore a TJ's in IC!!! I also think SO many college students would frequent it--again, good and unique food at affordable prices, what more could a person (or young adult/college student) ask for?

My husband and I always travel with a cooler on our road trips so that we will be able to buy some of our favorite foods from Trader Joe's. I have personally shopped at Trader Joe's in Arizona, Chicago, Milwaukee, Dallas, California and Des Moines. We would love to be able to shop in Iowa City as we live in Cedar Rapids.
We love Trader Joe's. we will retire in Iowa city so hope there is one when we get there.

BIG 10 college town you would do GREAT here!!!! approx 20% of students are from Chicago land. Iowa City is very progressive fresh food and organics are a plus.... everytime I go to Chicago or DesMoines TJ I ask when are you going to place a TJ in Iowa City.
