As a former supporter and donor to Boddie's campaign I am disgusted that he has not stepped down yet.

Nathan, you've been a great champion for the things we all believe in and I have every confidence that you'll continue fighting for us all, but not in Salem.
I know you value the work we all do to make this community a better place because we love it and call it home. I know you understand that our civic life is bigger than any one of us, that Bend will be in capable hands even, regrettably, without you.
This community has lost it's confidence in your ability to continue in this race. It's time to move on.
Please, do the right thing.

Boddie has to go. He lacks the moral compass needed to represent House District 54. He lacks the courage to admit his failings, and he has more failings tha his constituents can tolerate.

No candidate is bigger than the office. It is time to step down and get your house in order and give local Dems the chance at electing a candidate we can be sure will represent HD 54 with dignity and integrity.

What we try to do, as humans, is not repeat mistakes or hurt others further once we become aware of the suffering we’ve caused. Politically-speaking a vote of no-confidence in Nathan as a candidate has already been established. The next step on the path is to clear the way for progressives to continue our fight for the State House 54 seat. We’re losing valuable time, and harm is still being done. Thank you in advance, Nathan. I trust you’ll do the right thing ASAP.

Time is short, but if Boddie gets out now, expresses true contrition, commits to get the help he clearly needs to work on the issues he faces, then actually follows through with getting this help, he can eventually be accepted back into central Oregon's public policy community. But if he persists with he current strategy he's done for good.

Nathan Boddie,
Bend deserves better than you. We deserve a state representative who is honest, owns his actions, and doesn't blame his victims for his transgressions. You have violated the trust and integrity that we the voters of Bend ascribed to you when you were nominated. It's time to step aside; we don't need a representative who doesn't evades their own actions and consequences by shaming those with less positional power. It's time.

Dr. Boddie, please resign now. I was confused about continuing my support for you until Moey spoke out. Give the Democrats a chance to choose a candidate of integrity to run for District 54.

Dr. Boddie knows I was a strong supporter of him and his candidacy. Admitting to serious mistakes MIGHT have been surmountable. However the way he turned on the woman brave enough to come forward to report her experience was disqualifying. I am personally sad to say this, but the only honorable thing at this point is for Dr. Boddie to step aside and allocate remaining campaign funds to a candidate the Deschutes Democrats will identify..
