With the recent roll-out of Facebook Timelines for Profiles & Pages we, the community of Facebook have become disappointed with the image quality of Cover Page images and uploaded photos. Many of us have blogged, posted, tweeted and discussed our disappointment and the inability to present ourself and brands with professional looking, non-distorted images. 

With Facebook's IPO underway and the recent updates that have been introduced it is apparent the emphasis has been placed on revenue opportunities and for this we believe image quality has been sacrificed to save on storage and bandwidth costs.

Facebook's mission is to give people the power to share and make the world more open and connected, however we feel that some of that power has been taken away. We the connected community of Facebook ask for you to provide us with the quality we were expecting from you.
