Time to make Hither Green Station fully accessible

Lots of mums and families use the station and it's impossible to access some platforms with a pram!

Anyone with a disability, elderly, infirm or with a pram struggles at Hither Green station. Please make this extremely busy station accessible on all platforms to all.

I regularly use Hither Green with my mother who is in her eighties. One Christmas she fell down the stairs and hit her head. We continue to use the station but it's dangerous.

It is extremely difficult to travel on public transport as a disabled person .Free access would really help

Access to the station is via a very steep ramp. When one gets to the top of the ramp there are then steps to cross the lines for access to platforms other than 4 & 5. This makes it very difficult for the elderly, the disabled and people with children in buggies, and probably impossible for many.

As a disabled person I should have every right to use Hither Green Station. I have to use Grove park which is out of my zone and then on a return journey use Lewisham Or Lee Green and order a taxi as I can not walk very far at all.

This one of the busiest stations in Lewisham and it is appalling that in 2016 it is still so difficult for people with disabilities to use it

All the slopes are in place they just need to be opened up. Then barriers for oyster and tickets can go in and the station bought up to standard, it is a very busy station.

I'm particularly concerned for mums with prams who I see struggling to get to the right platform. As a retired woman with breathing problems, I also find the stairs difficult.

The lack of disabled access to Hither green platforms is a disgrace given the large volume of people who use the station on a daily basis and the fact the area is comprised of mainly family (pushchair users). Spending to solve this problem is a job brainer!

Absolutely, it's very poor. Even the steps and platforms are not in great condition.

When I had the kids in a buggy I would choose to use Ladywell and take on the additional 15 minute walk rather than try to negotiate the steps at Hither Green. It's ridiculous that it is still going on and my kids are now 9 and 10.

Our station is in desperate need of improvement, I've regularly planned a journey after checking platform are accessible wit a buggy etc for there to be a late notice platform change & no time to carry a pram & baby up & over the steps.... It's unacceptable for a busy 6 platform station.

Moving between platforms at Hither Green is difficult for the able bodied with luggage, let alone the disabled and people with buggies. It's always more than one flight of steep stairs.

Step free access and the refurbishment of the stairs and bridges should be undertaken as a matter of urgency. Also, leaks and trip hazards are H&S issues that must be addressed as soon as possible.

This has been needed for many years. I no longer have a pushchair but many users will benefit from this. This has been needed for years to improve accessibility and help reduce the crushes on the rickety footbridges.

It's absurd that there is no wheelchair access nor provision for people with prams at this station. Get with it!

Disabled access for all

Limited access is a nightmare with a pram. Please fix this.
