Time to make Hither Green Station fully accessible

Cannot wait to have all platforms step free access.

Just to emphasise the improvements should be to the train services and not just accessibility

Both Hither Green station and the train service running through it are dreadful.

Any improvements to the current station will make a massive difference.

No having proper disabled access in thia day and age is a diagrace. In addition, the station is falling apart thanks to years of neglect and the usual not our responsibility that you get from Soth Eastern and Network Rail...

I always struggle to go out with my baby because of the stair in the station and no staff to help.

Everyone should be able to access any part of the station.jej

We have a 15 months old baby and it has been a challenge to get on and off trains at Hither Green so far. This should have highest priority as Hither Green is a very busy station.

I find hither green station absolute dreadful for people with wheelchairs and mothers with pushchairs. This has been addressed for a number of years and still nothing has been done!!!

Why has this not been done sooner?

I personally had problems with platform access at Hither Green Station. I have a disabled son who uses a wheel chair and I often cannot get on or off trains at that station with him, if the train comes or stops on certain platforms. Very disgusting in this day and age.

Hither Green is a very busy station, and only platforms 5 &6 are readily accessible without use of stairs- sometimes having to dash between platform 6 and 3 if a train is delayed or cancelled.

I am a disabled Lee Green resident and regular user of Hither Grn BR Stn which I find totally inaccessible to use. Actually getting to the station itself is impossible due to the steep ramp leading up to it as is the case with all the walk bridges to the various platforms

This is definitely needed in the area as it has a large number of young families.

Access for all is vitally needed at this station.

The steps restrict the number of platforms that disabled and some elderly travellers can use.

I appreciate it might be expensive to put lifts in but surely just adding a path with an exit onto Staplehurst Road will make a big difference? It's not like there are ticket barriers in place at present.....

Ludicrous, archaic provision made even worse by regular last minute platform alterations and use of HG by commuters changing lines due to London Bridge redevelopment.

I always avoid hither green station since my daughter was born. I had to take a bus to lewisham so i can avoid the steps.
