Time to make Hither Green Station fully accessible

I have two small children and I cannot count the amount of times I have missed a train or ending up in pain and tears from having to carry a toddler and heavy pram up, over, and down stairs! The ramp between platforms 4&5 is steep enough to wind even the healthiest individual.

Stations should have step free access

I visit my daughter in Hither Green every week and am dismayed by the state of disrepair at this station. The steep tunnel approach and uneven steps to platforms require a level of fitness that will soon be beyond me!

This must happen, I'm a mother of baby twins and can't risk the kindness of strangers to tackle stairs with a double buggy! This would really change things for parents of hither green and those less able.

This is really needed, this area is full of parents with babies. My wife has struggled many times at this station with push chair and two children. Not to mention disabled people.

Majority of local population are families so let's make hither green station more baby buggy friendly!

Forever waiting at platform 5 to avoid the (decent amount of) steps with my buggy. Once I nearly dropped the buggy sideways at peak time. Never again. I have been walking to Lewisham instead if I can't be bothered to wait so long for the relevant train to arrive at platform 5.

This is needed NOW Please

I have 2 babies in a buggy and its unpossible for me to travel from other platforms than the two by the entrance. I struggle a lot really!

Access is poor. I was forced to wait a long time for a train to London as my friend was unable to climb so many steps

As an older person I find the station more and more challenging to negotiate. There are dangerous holes on the steps and lots of very uneven surfaces. Often I have to walk the long way round to avoid the steps and I dread the time when I am less mobile. This is a highly discriminatory state of affairs at a time when more and more people need to use this station.

Hither Green gets busier every year and these improvements to allow step free 'access for all' is long overdue.

I try not to use Hither Green because I find the steps increasingly difficult. Also, they are increasingly in a state of disrepair. The blocked up tunnels and the one which is still in use should be made less steep and put back into use as a matter of urgency.

I am tired of struggling to get trains to and from Hither Green with a baby buggy and it must be a nightmare for anyone who needs step-free access themselves. It's definitely time to update this station!

It's a total nightmare for parents with pushchairs

Hither green is a major connecting station and it needs to have better access.

For the elderly and disabled and those with small children this very popular and much used station is a nightmre

Step free access should be available on all stations in the 21st-century.

I almost fell down the stairs at hither green a couple of weeks ago carrying my buggy. Managing all those steps with children and buggies is really quite dangerous. For such a busy station with so many platforms I'm baffled why it rest have better access.

I think it is quite astonishing that Hither Green and other stations such as Bellingham have no pushchair or disabled access.
