Not before time. I always need to ask strangers for help with my pushchair. Blackheath has fewer platforms, yet has a left.

As a parent with a baby I have found myself on numerous occasions stuck on a platform with a buggy without means of exit. Please please can you make platforms 6, 3 and 2 accessible.

Trying to navigate this station with a buggy is virtually impossible. It really affects my travel and as a consequence I avoid the station where possible. This is a family area of London, please make the station accessible!

About time to. People have had to walk over the bridge (or try to get to the other side) with much difficulty if they have a disability or have pushchairs or heavy baggage.Thishas been going on for over 60 years. Hope something is sorted out SOON.

Hither Green station is only usable if you are fully mobile and have no luggage, buggy, etc. This is unacceptable in 2016 and improvements to make all platforms useable by everyone are urgently needed.

my elderly parents can not use this station. It is shocking there is no step free access in this day and age.

Easier access is so needed at this station and will make such a great difference to those who need it.

I agree the station needs to be accessible. Many times my heart has sank as the train has puked in to hither green station only for me to realise I have to bump my buggy, assist my toddler, restrain my older child and then go back for my suitcase up across and down the rickety and dangerous stairs. Further the railings at the top of the bridge are insufficient to stop a small child leaning through and falling onto the tracks below. Whilst I thankfully have only 2 or so more years having a difficult time travelling via hither green ahead of me with a young child requiring a buggy what if disabled people confined to a wheel chair for life? Shame on whoever is responsible for maintaining such restrictions on their access to a normal life.

I've always thought hither green is ridiculously inaccessible. You don't need to have personal experience to realise it. Something needs to change.

Visit my son and family and always have luggage with me. At nearly 70 years of age I find access and exit at the station appalling. Goodness knows how those with disabilities and young children manage. I believe urgent action is essential.

A friend of mine with a buggy had to sit alone on a platform at night while she watched a train she could have got on leave from another platform that she couldn't access. Unacceptable!

It's dangerous for adults with small children having to manage pushchairs and children on steep steps.

Long overdue changes needed! I got stranded once on platform 3 with my baby in her buggy (after the usual Orpington/platform 4 train went randomly to platform 3)..... so frustrating when you look around and see ample space for lifts and/or ramps on the platforms.....

As a father of twins wanting to go into town it was fine if I had to miss a train to make sure the train was on platform 5, but the return leg was painful as i had to select a specific train route that would drop us on the right platform. Hither green has the ability to do this already it just needs some regeneraton
