Time to make Hither Green Station fully accessible

I cannot believe this is even back up for debate. False promises it seems. It should have been done years ago - get on with it!

Our station is so busy and the area is growing more and more: the elderly and people with prams need this just as much as those in wheelchairs. The bridges are on their last legs too!!

Access for all please!

Majority of people who lives in Hither Green are young families with small children and most of them travel with a buggies at weekend. At the moment, these parents are accessing platform by carrying buggies in one hand and holding another child on the order across the bridge. The wooden stairs on the footbridge are uneven. This is a breeding ground for accidents. A step free access will hugely benefit locals and avoid and serious accidents.

Upgrade the station now! It's impossible for people with disabilities to access most platforms and an accident waiting to happen for all users

Often take a buggy into London for my work as a childminder. Impossible to do without help so older children miss out on educational trips.

These improvements are long overdue.

I'm disabled and have two kids under 2 this would help my family so much

Nightmare trying to use trains with a buggey

I regularly have to carry my 1 year old in his buggy up and down over 60 steps to get to my train and then repeat on my return!

Lack of accessible public transport is a major challenge for our members and clients. Improvements to Hither Green's accessibility are long overdue,

This station is not accessible to people with buggies or any format of mobility problem. The gap between the train and platform is dangerous, eventually there will be a serious accident. The tunnel and ramp into the main station is often wet and slippery. People often use the tunnel as a short cut cycling past pedestrian very close at speed and sometimes being very aggressive if the pedestrian doesn't move out of their way. In 2016 this station is a disgrace it needs completely refurbishing. Please invite the Queen to visit and something may then get done.
