I love Blues Travelers. I've seen them at Red Rocks more than 10 times. Most of those were on the 4th of July. But it's time to give that slot a new Breath of Life. Let's switch it up.

For a venue as large as Red Rocks to assure one so-so band an annual spot on a major holiday is not only unfair, it's absurd. I did not think your objective as a thriving venue was to create a musical monopoly but rather to give people a variety of standout (and sellout) shows. Aren't you here to make money?

Umphrey's mcgee should be playing the 4th. They are here every year and they are a million times better than blues traveler. Not to mention they have sold red rocks out 2 years in a row1

I agree, I have been to Red Rocks on July 4th (moe. opening for Blues Traveler) it was an amazing experience but they have squatted on this date for far too long. Phish at Red Rocks on July 4th would be too amazing!
