The citizens of the historic Maysville Community have an endearing love for Williamson High School as the pride and championship traditions of the athletic programs have always been an adhesive link between the school and the support of the alumni and the community. The alumni and citizens work extremely hard in various capacities to remain engaged in support of positive programs and outreach services offered to the students, parents and alumni in our district, including the best competitive sports programs as well as academic curricula. We believe that these programs can only succeed under caring, qualified, and professional administrative, teaching and coaching staff.

While we appreciate the tenure and efforts of the current head varsity football coach, athletic director and offensive coaching staff, we feel that it is now time for new leadership and a new trajectory. Change is a good thing and a new coach means new opportunities and new ways to grow - which are the sparks that our team so desperately needs! Coaches who have demonstrated inflexibility about changing their schemes, game planning or coaching styles have the tendency to hold their teams back!

WHS has a storied history of a great varsity football program. For this reason, along with those cited above, the alumni and citizens of this proud community seek changes in leadership to try and restore the long, lost pride and heritage in our varsity football program and hereby advocate for the immediate removal/and or reassignment of the current head varsity football coach and current offensive coaching staff
