For as long as I could remember, we (Mariam and I) have been living in the reigning terror of Hafsa and her horrendous and audacious demands of how the space in our room is used. she has constantly annoyed us with her lewd and unwanted remarks, dumb information that no one asked for, and she even went as far to control when the lights in our room are turned off and on.

We know the struggle for freedom and progress is a long one. We also know that is often a path less traveled. But enough is enough! We refuse to give in to terror. we refuse to have our rights taken away in the name of seniority. We refuse to idly stand by and watch as this monster gains control and power in this household. After some long deliberation and much thought, we decided that kicking Hafsa out of our room is the best choice for the wellbeing and the safety of Mariam and me.
