Tim Cooper Athletic Training Room - Mira Costa High School

Tim was everything to our kids!!! He cared, he fixed, he loved them all !!

Tim was an amazing trainer and a friend to so many of our children at MCHS!

Tim was my mentor, my best friend. Because of him, under his tutelage, I am the athletic trainer I am today. We worked together and competed against each other in every sport our schools have. We'd see each other everytime we played against each other, took care of each other's kids as if they were our own, and hung out with meals after games. We were brothers who met at different times in our lives. We cared for each other and cared for the lives of others.

If not him, then who? He deserves this....

I think this would be great.

Tim took good care of our two daughters at Mira Costa and he was fantastic.

An incredible person who cared greatly for the athletes he treated and for MCHS! His impact is still being felt by those who came into contact with him!

A well deserved tribute

Tim was an amazing asset at Mira Costa. He cared about the kids and went above and beyond. I am grateful that my daughter had him as a trainer in her early years at Costa. He made a lasting impact and she still wears a bracelet in his honor when she competes in Volleyball.

Tim helped me out he was a awesome man and a friend.

If you played a sport at Mira Costa, you knew Tim and the training room!

Tim was an amazing person who went above and beyond to help shape young lives in a positive way. With this gym named after him it will keep his legacy alive. Which will allow others to tell his story and continue to help young athletes.

I spent many afternoon hours in the ice pool getting ready for baseball practice from 1986-1990 I loved talking sports with Tim I even gave him my poster I had in my room at of Eric Davis of the Cincinnati Reds. He hung it up in the training room.

Tim was the absolute best and truly deserves this!
