Tighter regulations for Kentucky commercial fishing

Do the right thing! Save the Catfish for our future generations!

Give the next generation the opportunity to catch a fish of a life time.

In understand commercial fishermen need to make a living but there needs to be laws and regulations that will benefit the basic or professional fishermen as well.

I live on the Ohio river and I can assure you I've not seen one officer board a commercial boat nor check their catch once. I feel the system in place will not work without enforcement period

Taking these trophy catfish out of the river and putting them in lakes or ponds needs to be stopped it is no different than taking a deer and caging it up in town it is not it's natural habitat and can not survive these big fish can not and do not live in paylakes if people want to catch big catfish then go to the river

As an angler, this is something close to my heart. I hope we all can understand the impacts this has on us as well as the future of the sport...

We need tighter regulations on Kentucky catfish!

As a tournament angler I have seen the decimation of Kentucky's trophy catfish. New and more strict regulations need to be passed and enforced to protect this valuable resource before it's too late.

Please stop this. It's just wrong I come a state away to fish your waters. But if the fish are not there. Then I'm not there. Or should I say we are not there. Thank You

Cat fishing ain't like it use to be 20 yrs ago the big cats are disappearing by commercial fisherman selling to pay lakes unbelievable !!!

This needs to stop there will be no more trophy cats left to catch. The dnr needs to realize this.

They gotta stop. Guys if you wanna catch big Cat you can do it in river. You ain't got to go to them lakes to catch caged up giants that are dieing, being held in such small body's of water, not good for the species

Enough is enough. I am signing this to ensure that my kids will have the same opportunity to catch trophy catfish like I had growing up.

This needs to stop! The commercial fisherman are destroying our natural resources !!!!! They shouldn't be able to take that many large trophy fish from public waters to stock paylakes!It's no different than a recreational hunter trapping deer and putting them in a high fence so people can pay to hunt them!

This is not fair we pay our money in license for them to rape the river and take to pay lakes where they don't have to buy a licenses think about the sportsman and the future sportsman!!!

This must stop so are future generations will get to enjoy the god made resource
