Tighter regulations for Kentucky commercial fishing

This stuff needs slowed way down. Seeing state record catfish going into pay ponds for nothing is ridiculous. No state allows public wildlife to be use like this they have to be farm raised. Catfish or any of your other so called trash fish is just the same as a sport fish. No state allows them to go into pay ponds.

Are rivers have been destroyed please stop this before it's too late

Cannot believe that cruelty still exists like this. This needs to be stopped, at least slowed down.

I have seen the river population decrease within the short time that i have been fishing. Stop allowing the river cats to become extinct for the greedyness of a few people trying to get rich

I would like to see stronger regulations on the commercial fishing in Kentucky mainly on the trophy catfish we all know that these fish are going into paylakes and most die that year and have to be restocked and these catfish are not at a growth rate to make it fun for a river or lake sportsman that mostly does catch and release I fish the Ohio river a lot and have for almost 16 years and the population of trophy catfish is at a low amount these tournaments show the results as well thanks hopefully these catfish waters can be great again thanks

The Ohio River has been decimated over the last 10+ years with Comercial fisherman over harvesting the river takeing a public resource out for their personal gain. Trophy Catfish and cats of most sizes are the only option to fight off avasive species in the local waterways. Lack of fish creates lack of production which in turn sends sport anglers out to other states to catch fish. This will create the loss of income in licence sales, and tournaments based out of the state. Then the only ones making profit are the commercial guys that continue scraping the bottom of the barrel. Haveing stricter regs for these fish will solve all the problems I used as just a few examples. I am in favor of tighter regulations and will continue to support this issue and see it thru. Thank u

We need to stop the commercial fishing before our fisheries are out of trophy fish.

Commercial fishing is rapping our rivers...if it keeps up my son want enev be able to catch a 20lb catfish in the next 3 yrs if that and he is only 7 yrs old....we have to think about our future of the sport to our society....

I have seen the catfish population on tbe Cumberland river fall since I first moved here in 2000. Please stop the commerical fishing. In todays time we are killing the wild life. The fish could be farm raised and provide jobs.

The Ohio River along Ky shorelines has been DESTROYED. . I have completely stop fishing it. Its not worth my ti.e and money.. Please help us stop further destruction to our public waters.. The regulations put into play recently are not en2and have not slowed them down a bit.. Its way past due..

The future of trophy catfish in our rivers are at risk if more restrictions are not put into play for CF! If this business of removing trophy size catfish(all catfish for the matter) and supplying them to paylakes does not cease then the future of trophy size cats will be dim. Paylakes and a lot of CF are morally wrong in the business they participate in and only care about $$profits$$!!
