I know I have set a target of 500 for this, but I feel it is not going to be worth much if I hand this in with less than 100 signatures, so I would appreciate it if everyone could spread the word a little more. There is no rules with regards to getting siblings to sign this, so if a parent has signed this get your partner and siblings to do the same. This petition would hold more weight if a child was to sign, as its the children we are trying to protect at the end of the day. I am not saying adults do not matter, but if like me, I put my daughter before myself, so lets get this moving again in the right direction. Thanks, Dean

Thurlstone as a whole is in drastic need of traffic calming and sensible parking control restriction. School drop off and pick up times in particular are complete chaos.

I agree we need traffic calming in this area and I'd also like to see a reduction in the HGVs on Manchester Road through the villages

I am looking for an independent signer to assist me when we approach the MP's so we can hand over the final petition and to throw questions their way. If we bombard questions their way to the point they find they are in a sticky position, it will throw more weight in our corner. If anyone is up for this then please let me know. Most people know where I live. If in doubt then please text me on 07554674007 quoting "PETITION ASSIST WITH QUESTIONS TO MP and your name" and I will get back to you. This is not open to just one person. The more the merrier. I have found in the past the more people that turn up to a MP's open surgery the better.

There have been quite a few near misses around the school site at heavy traffic times. When they finally resurface the badly neglected roads, drivers will be going even faster and an accident is inevitable.

I thought it was supposed to be at least a 20mph round a school anyway so im surprised this hasn't been implemented already! Kill your speed not a child!
