SOS = Save Our Symbol

Please show your support for people with MND/ALS. The Motor Neurone Disease association (UK) has had a revamp of its main logo, as part of their rebranding of the association. Whilst the rebranding of the associations main logo is somewhat different, they have stopped printing the Thumbs up logo on all material for public release and to only use the Thumbs up logo on material designated for the association employees and members. The logo was the last defying gesture made by the actor David Niven who died of MND and this gesture is often the only one that many motor nerone disease sufferers can manage to do. The decision to drop the thumbs up logo was taken by people not affected by MND and therefore do not realise or recognise the significance and importance of such a tiny thing to those affected by MND can mean. I ask you to sign this petition to show your support to the people with MND/ALS, in the hopes the MND association will actually listen and act appropriately, as I feel that the thumbs up symbol is the most important to all sufferers & should also take PRIDE OF PLACE. Thank you for your support.
