Threatened Loss of Piedmont Station, U.S. Post Office, Oakland CA 94611

Closing the Piedmont Station at 41st Street in Oakland would be a significant loss to many.

This is a vital Post Office, with important self-service capabilities and high customer volume. There are going to be MORE people with the influx of new homes/apts - please keep this branch OPEN!!

My husband and I are small business owners on Piedmont Ave. We depend on this post office to keep our business running. It would be terribly inconvenient to have to lock up our business and drive to another location in order to mail packages and important documents, thereby, losing our parking spot and possible business dollars for us and the Piedmont community in the process. Please do not close the Piedmont Post Office!

Being a senior citizen, I can walk to this post office - this applies to many of us and I urge to keep this facility open. Thx

Don't take away my neighborhood post office! We DO NOT need more condos, and the walkability of that PO is invaluable for everyone in the neighborhood.

This is my "go to" postoffice. They are convenient with parking as well as nearby so many neighborhoods. Whenever I am there, I experience that this post office is a central, important gathering place for so many different options.

If this post office has to close I am begging you make sure another one opens nearby with parking since the other post offices are already overflowing with long waits in line. Thank you

No! This is the only post office I use exclamation mark it is quick efficient and easily accessible. They have a mobile do it yourself unit that most do not have. I would be severely impacted send this location close.
