Threatened Loss of Piedmont Station, U.S. Post Office, Oakland CA 94611

Our local post offices already struggle to keep up with demand. Closing Piedmont Station would increase pressure on the other branches and make the problem much worse.

Please support walkable neighborhoods and protect our post office. Temescal or Montclair would be no substitute.

The post office is an important part of the neighborhood

I am a senior in this neighborhood and use this PO and getting to another will be a hardship.

I heavily rely on this post office as do many others. It would be a massive inconvenience and disappointment if the post at that location closed, including many seniors and people with disabilities.

I agree with all these i\sentiments: please keep our busy post office . There are other places to develop for more housing.

Please do not take our much needed post office away!

If condos are going to be approved, please require space for post office as well

This post office is an important community resource for a very lot of people in this densely populated area!

This post office means so much to me. I visit here at least twice a month and I have to say that it warms my heart when I know I'm going to visit. I look forward to walking to this location, even waiting in line (can you believe it?) because the people who work there are always so friendly and I enjoy purchasing stamps and mailing out letters. Please keep this post office open.

Our neighborhood relies on the necessary services of this post office in the exact location it is currently in.

I live off of 37th and Webster and use this post office regularly ... it is always busy and obviously serves its purpose for the neighborhood (especially the apartments for seniors nearby). Please keep it open!

I can't even imagine the impact closing this post office would have on this neighborhood. Let the developer find another location.

I use that post office 2-3 times every week. I walk there. I don't walk anywhere. Please don't make me drive and park to another one outside of my neighborhood. It's always busy and will make the one at 51st and in Montclair far less efficient.
