Threatened Loss of Piedmont Station, U.S. Post Office, Oakland CA 94611

This is by far the most convenient post office anywhere near me. Please save this post office!

Please keep a Post Office in our neighborhood. It is vital to all of the residents who live in nearby neighborhoods.

First, post office boxes were removed from our neighborhoods affecting the physically and sight challenged communities and senior citizens, Now this! Our postal carriers are now required to deliver heavy packages along with the mail. Not good for their backs or health,

This is the ONLY PO within walking distance that allows for you to buy stamps and mail small packages without using the counter. Please reconsider.

WE DO NOT NEED MORE CONDOS IN THE AREA!!! we are so impacted by all of the developments in the area already. This post office is essential to the community. I use it all the time and it is always busy.

I use this post office all the time - please don't take it away!! Having this post office is part of what makes my Piedmont Avenue neighborhood valuable. It would be a significant extra cost in time and money to economically conduct my small business without it.

I'm tired of valuable community institutions, like the 41st St. branch library, being wiped out by market forces. This post office has a steady stream of users every day, all day. I oppose any project here that wouldn't include a post office on the ground floor, and urge elected officials to get busy helping to find a community-friendly solution here.

This post office is very much needed in this area. The closure would heavily impact on these other post offices that would take the burden of all the customers that use Piedmont.

Neighborhood Resident; I have had a PO Box at this Post Office for 5 years. I mail or pick up packages from this location twice a week, please don't take this away! The location also serves the nearby senior housing community and would be a huge loss!

Please do not take a way an essential community resource from this neighborhood. This Post Office is heavily used by seniors who are within walking distance and by those of us who live within a reasonable walking/driving distance. It is the only post office in our area.

This station is greatly valued and heavily used by residents of the Piedmont Avenue neighborhood. It would be a great disservice to the neighborhood and extremely inconvenient for local residents if it were shut down.

The 41st St. Post Office is essential to our neighborhood.

Our neighborhood needs it's own post office. There are many elderly people that live here that cannot easily go to Montclair.

This is an essential post office location for thousands of people! Please do not allow it to close without providing another office very nearby, that includes on-site parking. Thank you.
