Please, please don't close this neighborhood post office! I live in the neighborhood and use it several times a week. Every neighborhood should have a post office! I espcially like how the have the lobby section where you can self mail/get postage from the machine! If me and other residents in the area have to drive to the next nearest post office, that makes more traffic and certainly longer lines

This post office is very heavily used and convenient to thousands of residents, many elderly, including me. It would be both stupid and cruel to take away this service.

The closure of Piedmont Station would be a huge loss for our neighborhood, especially to our seniors.

A densely populated neighborhood like Piedmont Ave needs to maintain an active post office facility. The existing facility is always packed full of customers. The area also is home to a large elderly population which relies heavily on the facility. A new facility should have better parking availability or drive thru access.

Please keep a post office in this neighborhood! It is very convenient for residents, especially senior cutizens who cannot easy travel to other locations. The current post office is not very nice, and so this can be an opportunity to improve the physical space and hopefully the service as well. Thank you!

Closure of this post office will represent a real hardship for me, a non-driver and elderly woman with mobility problems. Is there no limit to greed?

I'd like the developer to make ground-floor space for the post office in the new building.

With the number of seniors in this area, it is vital that a post office is within walking distance.

Like many others in the neighborhood, I don't have a car and depend on this post office.

This is a great post office and is a service to the neighborhood and greater area. What oakland needs is public services. What oakland doesn't need is more expensive luxury condos which only serve the ultra rich who are moving here and not the local community. Trading a post office for luxury condos would be a great disservice to the community

I've lived in this neighborhood for 22 years and use this post office very often. It would be a great inconvenience for me if this post office no longer exists. Additionally, since parking is extremely difficult around the immediate vicinity if the post office, If multiple condo's replace the post office, parking will become close to impossible in that area.

This post office is a valuable resource and very much needed exactly where it is. It is used regularly by Oakland residents, who rely on it.

Keep the post office open! It is vital to the neighborhood and makes it a great community to live in. Piedmont Ave is a walking neighborhood and without this post office, we can't walk to take care of our postal needs!
