Threatened Loss of Piedmont Station, U.S. Post Office, Oakland CA 94611

This library is critical to our community! We are Piedmont residents, and this is where we mail packages, sign up for passports, and more. Please keep this important location open.

Though I live in Temescal, the Piedmont Ave PO is my primary PO!!

I can't understand how they're even thinking of closing this Post Office! It's always crowded and no other location (Montclair, Lake Park) would be convenient for the residents. Isn't this building supposed to be for "Public Service "

It is the most practical post office for me and it has parking.

The Piedmont Avenue Post Office Station is a tremendous asset the the community. At it's current location, it is an easy walk for seniors and others in the community to use. It is a very busy branch which reflects the community need for the station there . I feel strongly that the station should remain in the immediate vicinity to Piedmont Avenue.

We need our post office

I live in the neighborhood of this post office and use it all the time. It always has a lot of people from the local small businesses and residences that abound nearby. DON'T take away our post office!!!

Please keep Oakland's 41st street USPS office open. We count on this busy station for its ervice.

Please keep a Post Office on Piedmont Ave. there is no where else to go where there is parking. and handicap access. Thank you

This post office is vital to the community and heavily used. There is no alternative nearby. Please do not redevelop the site. It is most needed as is!

The 41st St PO is vital to MANY area residents who rely on it. It's loss would be a hardship. In addition, it is the impetus for numerous seniors to walk; therefore, a double blessing!

please keep the postoffice at piedmont station. I use it all the time so do my neighbors. it'd be a big inconvenience to loose it. the other closest post office nearby walgreens is ALREADY too crowded. we need this one to stay open

Piedmont Avenue needs a fully functional Post Office. I use the 41st Street PO often to send mail and packages for my business and personal use. Closing this PO is not a logical way for the USPS to increase patronage. And it puts the profit of out of town developers ahead of the needs of the community (once again).

Please save this post office! I use it on a nearly weekly basis and it is convenient and important to me. It is very important to the area. The next closest postal office is in Temescal and it is nearly always very busy and understaffed.

This post office is a HUGE convenience to our neighborhood. It would be a tragedy to lose it just to gain some condos & fatten the pockets of a developer with no personal concern or investment in our community.

The piedmont ave post office offers valuable services to residents and businesses of several neighborhoods. Public land and services must be maintained for public use and benefit!

This post office is very important to me. I have had a PO box there for well over 20 years! I don't have a car and am a senior citizen. My building does not have secure mail for each tenant,
