It is important to have a neighborhood PO to maintain the integrity of the Piedmont Ave district. The parking lot is almost always full.

Please retain this post office. I use it all the time and no nearby facility could possibly handle the volume. It barely does that now.

The post office is one of the important elements making this neighborhood walkable. This is good for residents, local businesses, home values and those who can not drive.

It's a wonderful post office and the community really needs it to remain available to us all..

I've always had to wait on long lines, so this is obviously an important part of USPS in this area!

I live in Temescal and walk to the many necessary services provided on and near Piedmont Ave., The post office on 41st is vital. Please find a way to keep this service within a few blocks of its current location. Best would be to make retention of this location as part of the ground floor of any new building.

Please save this post office. There are several senior living buildings near by and a thriving neighborhood that is overcrowded already. We need to keep this service!!! They've already taken away a lot of our street mail boxes

Please save our Post Office. It's vital to the immediate community and neighborhoods the post office services. Available parking is vital for those of us with mobility issues, and the other two very small post offices within a couple miles of the 41rst station would be unable to handle the customer and mail load that the 41rst St Post Office does. It also helps give a 'sense of place' and bind us as a community. The Piedmont Ave business district and Oakland and City of Piedmont serviced by the 41rst St Station support and deserve to have our local facility. It's not as if it's a neglected station with few customers - it's vital to the health of the community!

I use this post office several times a week. I'm a senior who can walk to it from my home of almost 40 years.

The local mailboxes have been removed requiring me to use this post office even more for my daily business needs. This branch is within walking distance, helping to keep my car off the road. The others are far away, too busy and generally inaccessible. Further the increased housing along upper Piedmont and Broadway is creating greater traffic strain as well as the lines at the post office. Forcing people to hop in their car and adding to the already busy area is a no win scenario. Finally, we have a large elderly population who use this location frequently and have no other options. Please keep our P.O.

This is a vital service to this area. There are a lot of seniors & it is difficult for them to drive to another post office. It is an extremely busy office. DO NOT CLOSE!

I often use this PO. Very walkable. Keep more rich people from moving in, they ruin things

For my small business, I need to have a post office in walking distance. This one is it. This post office is always in heavy use which is an obvious sign of our need for it.

This is a well used PO and more accessible than many surrounding offices. It is a necessity that it be maintained.
