As a former PUBLIC SAFETY employee until 2017, I STRONGLY OPPOSE Nolan ESPINDA’s nomination. Under his administration and the Sheriff division leadership under Renee SONOBE-HONG, I was targeted, mistreated, and unfairly disciplined one(1) for unfounded complaint lasting. I have since moved on to a better LE agency but will always feel that the Sheriff Div could have been the best LE job in the entire state. Why is it that the best deputies are continually applying for other LE jobs? Please do not appoint this unqualified man who brings along an administration that is on the same level as this man.
