Seeing this kind of movement in the community makes me feel a bit less alone in this fight. It is heavy work trying to keep the pool open but the tide seems to be turning in our favor.

Seems like a total waste to shut it down. They want us to stay active but take away the only place to swim. Fix it.
Thorold council really dropping the ball on this one. summer is already boring enough for teens as it is.
This is ridiculous. Why get rid of one before the other is even ready? We need this pool for the neighborhood kids.
so many memories at this pool. please dont close it yet!!
my kids have nowhere else to go during the summer. keep it open!!

My grandkids rely on this place to burn off energy. Bad call city council.
